New, First-Time, Incoming Freshmen Onboarding
We are excited to have you start your first year with us! As with any new place, it can be an overwhelming transition. These onboarding pieces are designed to ground you in your purpose, build your confidence, and connect you with the campus community prior to your first day of the semester. Please review each onboarding piece below.
Onboarding Steps
‘Ike, meaning “knowledge, awareness, understanding”. New students are required to complete four online modules consisting of informational videos accompanied by a following quiz.
Students who complete the Online ‘Ike Modules will be given a six-digit PIN. Please note it down as you will need it in order to register for classes. Incoming freshmen can begin registering for Spring 2027 on November 16.
Schedule an appointment with your College Success Advisor. They will assist you with course registration for the Spring 2027 semester as well as answer any initial questions you may have.
See if there are any additional requirements you’ll need to complete as an accepted student to UH West O‘ahu.
