Unclassified Students
Individuals who wish to enroll in UH West Oʻahu courses but do not wish to pursue a degree or a certificate may apply for admission as an unclassified, non-degree seeking student.
How to Apply
To apply for admission as an unclassified student, applicants should submit a UH West Oʻahu Application as a “Non-Degree & Summer Session” applicant. Transcripts are not required to apply for admission, but may be required for registration purposes to verify that a pre-requisite has been met.
Application Deadlines
Application deadlines for certificates are the same as for other programs.
Enrollment Conditions
- Registration for unclassified students is on a space available basis and begins one week before the start of the term.
- Please note that unclassified students are not eligible for financial aid or VA education benefits.
- International students are not eligible for unclassified non-degree seeking status.
