The University of Hawaiʻi – West Oʻahu is part of the 10-campus University of Hawaiʻi System. The campus is led by Chancellor Maenette Benham, who runs the university with the help of three vice chancellors — Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Jeff Moniz, who assists the chancellor as the chief academic officer; Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs, Judy Oliveira, who oversees planning and policy formulation as well as student services; and Vice Chancellor of Administration, Kevin Ishida, who is the chief administrative and financial officer for the campus.
UH West Oʻahu’s executive team is dedicated to collaborative decision-making, transparency, and effective communication.
Under the direction of Chancellor Maenette Benham and Dr. Walter Kahumoku, UH West Oʻahu is undertaking an assessment of academic, student, and administrative affairs to formulate a strategy that aligns its enrollment, facilities, and academic growth prospects over the next 10, 15, and 20 years.
