Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action
The University of Hawai‘i–West O‘ahu affirms its commitment to promote the University’s policy of Non-discrimination and Affirmative Action. The Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action office oversees the development and implementation of policies and procedures for UH West Oʻahu.
The office also provides services to the UH West Oʻahu campus, including:
- advising departments and search committees on recruiting and retaining a diverse workforce
- preparing annual affirmative action plan reports
- investigating and resolving complaints
The EEO/AA Office offers a web-based Title IX/Sexual Harassment course for all faculty, students and staff of the UH System. The self-paced program takes about 2 hours to complete and provides a convenient opportunity to learn about sexual harassment and how to prevent it.
For additional information on sexual harassment, please refer to the Title IX section of the UH West O‘ahu Compliance microsite.
