Natural Science Learning Outcomes

To assure educational quality and curricular coherence, UH West O‘ahu has identified standards appropriate for Natural Science students. Students at UH West O‘ahu are expected to apply certain educational skills towards mastering material in an academic major and concentration.

Graduates with a Bachelor of Science in Natural Science from UH West O‘ahu will be able to:

Communicate scientific ideas clearly in written and oral formats.
Explain how to find, read, and critically review scientific literature.
Analyze data effectively using current methods and technology.
Apply fundamental concepts and techniques in mathematics and sciences.
