Spring 2020 Commencement – Important Update

We know that commencement is a significant milestone for all of you and your ʻOhana/families. Indeed, you have each worked long, hard hours to earn your degree and certifications, and we at UH West Oʻahu looked forward to celebrating this very special occasion with you, your ʻohana, and friends! We understand the announcement from the University of Hawaiʻi System President was disappointing to you, as well as a difficult one for us too.
Please know that the UH West Oʻahu Commencement Committee, with student leadership and graduating student representation, will begin to meet shortly. We will make every effort to determine an alternative graduation celebration so that the Spring Class of 2020 can celebrate their successful UH West Oʻahu Pueo journey.
We support your continued perseverance, resilience and grit as we strive to complete the Spring 2020 semester online.
