Scammers from Nigeria are authoring phishing emails directed at Europeans requesting assistance.
The emails are requesting money in return for rewards to help them migrate to Europe either because they were widowed or lost their business.
One common story is that they were oil moguls in Syria and need someone to help them move their money by paying a certain
required fee.
Beware that many of these emails will use links to current news articles to try and provide evidence for their so called problems.
While most of the stories are in English there have been some in French, German, and Arabic.
