The bug bounty program is called, “Hack the Pentagon.” US Secretary of Defense, Ash Carter, claims that this new program will enhance national security and ultimately strengthen our ability to defend the country. The terms of this program are pretty simple. You have to register as a skilled hacker willing to put the federal government through its paces, and then you try to breach federal apps, websites, and networks. If you find any vulnerabilities that you were able to exploit, that gets reported to the US government, and you get paid for your work.
