Kauai Cyber Security Project

I.             Summary of Duties:  Regular, Full-Time, RCUH Non-Civil Service position with the Kauai Community College (KauaiCC), Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training (TAACCCT) Program, located in Lihue, Hawaii.  Continuation of employment is dependent upon program/operational needs, satisfactory work performance, availability of funds, and compliance with applicable Federal/State laws.   Installs, supports, maintains, and troubleshoots remote and onsite lab equipment for the Kauai Cyber Security Project.  This includes a robust NetLab installation consisting of Cisco devices and VMware ESXi servers. A.           Education/Training:  Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four (4) year college or university in Information and Computer Science, Information Technology, System and Network Administration, Information Security and Assurance, or related field (Associate’s Degree from an accredited community college in one (1) of the above fields, and at least four (4) additional years of work experience in one (1) of the above fields may substitute for a Bachelor’s Degree).   B.           Experience:  At least three (3) years of experience performing the following tasks: Installing, configuring, and maintaining Cisco routers and switches; Working with server based VMware (ESXi servers and vCenter); Maintaining/working with Desktop operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows and/or Linux; Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Computer system hardware.    Please download the document provided below and fill out your application.
