Weekly Patch and Update Summary for Week of September 9, 2016

For all patches and updates listed below please use the appropriate updating methods for your system.  It is advised that you patch and update your system as soon as possible.

WordPress

There were two vulnerabilities that affected WordPress versions 4.6 and prior.  One of these vulnerabilities may have allowed a remote attacker to gain control of the website.  It is recommended that users upgrade to WordPress 4.6.1 as soon as possible.  For more information please see: WordPress 4.6.1 Security and Maintenance Release

Ubuntu
