Weekly Patch and Update Summary for Week of June 24, 2016

Apple

Apple has released a security update to address a vulnerability in AirPort Base Station (Wi-Fi enabled devices).  This vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to gain control of a system.  For more information on this update please see: AirPort Base Station Firmware Update 7.6.7 and 7.7.7

WordPress

WordPress released version 4.5.3 which addresses several security vulnerabilities found in earlier versions.  These vulnerabilities may allow a remote attacker to gain control of a system.  For more information on this update please see: WordPress Security Release 4.5.3

Ubuntu

Canonical has released many security updates for their operating system Ubuntu.  For more information please see Ubuntu Security Notices.
