MedStar Health hit by virus

The FBI is currently investigating a virus that has affected MedStar Health, a major Washington area hospital chain. This hospital chain includes Georgetown Hospital and other medical facilities in the area. There are no details yet whether this infection was caused my a regular computer virus or ransomware, but some employees have been blocked from logging into their systems. Although the virus is still be investigated clinics are still open to business. There is no evidence that patient information was stolen.
