Public Computing Spaces

Library InfoCommons

Located in the UH West Oʻahu Library, the Information Commons provides student access to PC workstations, a pay-per-print laser printers, and  scanners. Scanners are connected to a designated workstation, that also serves as an “Express Print” workstation. Pay-per-print copy cards are available at the Library Circulation Desk.

Workstations, printer, and scanner are available during normal UHWO Library hours.

Learning and Meeting Spaces

Classroom Technology

All instructional classrooms and labs are equipped with built-in technology for teaching.  Each classroom or lab has:

  • Windows or macOS computer
  • Touch screen system controllers
  • Mounted projector
  • CD / DVD / Blu-ray capabilities (A building)
  • Plug-in capability for laptops

C225 Presentation Room

Need to conduct a presentation? The C225 presentation room can be reserved by UH West Oʻahu Faculty and Staff. This room features:

  • Reconfigurable desks and chairs
  • Windows Computer
  • Mounted projectors
  • Intelligent 360° camera
  • Interactive Vibe board

Instructional Spaces

A227 Computer Classroom

This computer classroom is located on the second floor of the Administration and Health Sciences Building (A227). This lab is primarily used for class instruction but is available for reservation to UH West Oʻahu Faculty and Staff. This lab features:

  • Interactive Vibe and Kaptivo boards
  • Intelligent 360° camera
  • Mounted HDMI projector
  • Blu-ray player

B155 & B157 Computer Labs

These labs are adjacent to each other, located on the first floor of the library building. Available to UH West Oʻahu Faculty and Staff for instructional use.  Contains:

  • 27 Dell Touchscreen All-in-One Windows PC with Microsoft Office suite and web browsers
  • Built-in Audio/Visual system with projector (HDMI / VGA inputs)
  • Kaptivo whiteboard
  • Hovercam Document Camera

* Due to the pandemic, these computer labs are currently offline.
