How do I conference call?

From your Avaya desk phone, you may conference up to 6 people. Please refer to “Initiating Conference Calls” on page 5 of the Avaya Telephone Reference Guide.

1. While on an active call, press the Conf soft key. The caller is put on hold and you will hear a dial tone.
2. Dial the number you wish to have a conference with.
3. Press the Conf soft key to conference all parties.
4. You may be able to conference up to six parties by repeating the first three steps.
5. The conference call remains connected even if you disconnect from the conference call.

If you require a conference bridge in which you need more than 6 people and/or want to schedule it for a certain time and everyone calls into a central number, please refer to the free Meridian Audio Conference Bridge service that ITS provides.
