Hawaiian Pacific Resources Librarian
Kawena Komeiji is from Nuʻuanu, Oʻahu though her ʻohana roots are in Waialua, Oʻahu. She holds a bachelor's degree in Hawaiian Studies from Kamakakūokalani Center for Hawaiian Studies (University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa) and a master's degree in Library and Information Science (University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa). Her specialty is Hawaiian language research, especially in the Hawaiian language newspapers, but she can help you find resources about anything in Hawaiʻi or the greater Pacific.Kawena enjoys Sephora, dogs, powerlifting, eating, and watching sports.Education
