World Book and Copyright Day

In recognition of the important role of books in our lives, April 23 was declared World Book and Copyright Day at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) General Conference in 1995. As mentioned in the document, Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, William Shakespeare, and Inca Garcilaso de la Vega died on April 23. 

World Book and Copyright Day is a day to celebrate reading and publishing. Celebrate this day by finding a book to read. The following books are available online:
