January 13, 2025 Carina CherniskyIt’s the first day of the Spring 2025 semester! We wanted to take a moment to let folks know about the workshops we offer, and the ways in which they help students to gain valuable academic and professional skills.
Synchronous Workshop Series
These brief, 1-hr workshops assist students with various aspects of research and equip them with important life skills. Each workshop will be offered on two days. See below for information about the workshops, the dates they will be offered, and the registration form.

Asynchronous Workshop Series
The library partners with the Noeau Center to host the asynchronous Research and Writing (RaW) Skills Workshop series, which consists of 4 different episodes:
- Identifying Your Topic
- The Research Process
- Outlining, Writing, Re-Writing
- Citations & Polishing
Students can complete these episodes at their own pace; each episode page has advice as to the timing of each episode in relation to a larger project a student may be working on.
