New Databases

The Library has recently acquired access to two databases that increase the range of materials available to support UH West Oʻahu students and faculty teaching and learning activities. The new databases, CINAHL Plus with Full Text and EBSCO Nursing eBook Collection, can be found in the Library’s A-Z Databases list and in Research Guides for relevant disciplines. Please note that access to these databases through the links below and from the Library’s A-Z Databases list is restricted to UHWO-affiliated faculty, staff, and students.
CINAHL stands for Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature, and provides extensive coverage of nursing literature. CINAHL Plus with Full Text is a comprehensive database of more than 770 nursing and allied health journals. It offers full-text access to popular journals that cover all areas of nursing and allied health literature, dating back to 1937.
This database features more than 600 selected quality e-books that focus on the needs of nursing professionals, including clinical guides, evidence-based practice manuals, practical handbooks, and professional growth titles.
