Faculty Professional Development Collection - Available NOW!

The Library is happy to announce that the Faculty Professional Development Collection has been integrated into the UHWO Voyager catalog and is now available for checkout.

This collection was carefully curated by Professor Brenda Machosky over the years, with suggestions from UHWO faculty to build a library related to teaching and learning excellence. Its purpose is to assist new instructors with materials to support their teaching, as well as experienced professors looking for new ideas.

The Faculty Professional Development collection has a wide array of materials on teaching, including books, newsletters, and other resources on topics such as curriculum development, managing discussion, syllabus design, learner-center teaching, classroom research, and lots of resources for online teaching. The collection also carries reference books for faculty’s research and publication, including style guides for MLA, APA, and the University of Chicago.

You can search through this collection in Voyager or browse through the books after the Z call number on the 2nd floor of the Library. Feel free to ask a librarian for assistance.
