Why fix?

Alternative text for images and other objects is very important for people who can’t see the screen. Screen readers read alt text aloud, so it’s the only information many have about the image. Good alt text helps them understand the image. (from Microsoft Word 2015)

Missing alt text (Pictures)

For Word 2015 (Mac / Windows)

Right-click the outer most area of the chart and click Format Picture…
In the right panel that appears, click on the square icon (third item from the left) to get to the Alt Text fields.
Input an appropriate title and description for the picture.
Click the ‘x’ on the Format Chart Area when done.
