Free weekly yoga sessions with instructor Emily Yamamoto are being offered every Tuesday at Hale Kuahuokalā in the Student Organic Garden.

The all-level sessions are open to students, faculty, and staff. Participants are asked to wear comfortable clothing or outfits similar to what they would wear to the gym for the 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. sessions. They also should bring their own mat, though there are some available for use.

All Level Yoga is designed to improve the health, performance, and mental acuity of athletes or individuals interested in improving their level of fitness. Yamamoto varies the type of yoga practiced depending on participants, with most sessions featuring a vinyasa/power yoga style and some sessions involving a more of a restorative-style class.

The sessions are sponsored by the UH West Oʻahu PIKO Project. Questions? Contact tasiay@hawaii.edu.
