Bridge the generation gap over a cup of coffee at the Sept. 16 Kope + Kūpuna event at the James & Abigail Campbell Library.

Ola nā iwi! The James and Abigail Campbell Library is hosting its first ever Kope + Kūpuna event on Monday, September 16, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the library lobby. Partnering with Alu Like’s Kumu Kahi program, students, faculty, and staff from UH West Oʻahu can grab a coffee, get life advice, or shoot the breeze with kūpuna from our community. The event is meant to bridge our surrounding community with the university community. It is also an opportunity for students to see the value of our community as a knowledge source. In return, the kūpuna can talk story with people from a different generation and hopefully learn new things as well.
