Zoom AI Companion

Zoom meeting settings enabled for AI Companion features.

UH-licensed Zoom accounts have an artificial intelligence tool, AI Companion, that can answer questions and summarize meeting information. During Zoom meetings, participants can direct questions to AI Companion and get answers based on the conversation transcript. Commonly asked questions like ‘catch me up’ appear as quick-click bubbles in the chat. And a Zoom host can effortlessly generate a meeting summary as a note-to-self or send as an email.

These AI-driven features are available but turned off by default. To enable AI Companion, go to advanced settings to select options. Once enabled, the AI Companion button appears in the Zoom meeting controls. Click ‘Start Summary’ to capture the conversation. For more details, read UH Zoom AI Guidelines.
