Spring 2025 Lamakū Training and Support

During upcoming months, Lamakū trainings will focus on helping UH West Oʻahu and UH Mānoa faculty (Cohort 2) learn the ropes of course building in D2L  Brightspace. The Spring 2025 Discovery Series features instructional designers demonstrating the use of essential Lamakū tools. The Zoom sessions include live demos and breakout rooms for discovery time. Registrants will receive links to session recordings and presentation slides. 

In addition, we suggest practicing new skills in a Lamakū sandbox environment while taking part in the Spring 2025 Lamakū Support Sessions. These informal Zoom sessions provide dedicated time for participants to work in Lamakū with ID and peer support. 

As you progress with these series, we urge you to plan an updated approach to your Summer 2025 classes. While using the new LMS will be optional during the summer semester, all courses will be auto-generated in Lamakū. This is a great opportunity to get comfortable with managing a class or two in Lamakū before a more hectic fall semester.
