Prep for Google Storage Limits

During the recent IT All-Campus Workshop 2023, participants were reminded of the upcoming data storage limits to be imposed on Google@UH accounts by July 2024. The storage quota for faculty and staff accounts will be 100 GB. This includes Google Drive files, Gmail and Photos. 

Reduce email clutter by batch deleting irrelevant emails by sender, content, or date. Delete emails with large attachments by searching for those greater than 1 MB. You can also focus your attention on old emails by hovering over the email total in the upper right corner and toggling from Newest to Oldest. Remember to empty Gmail’s trash to see the impact of your clean-up efforts.
