Create online lessons with TED-Ed

TED-Ed lessons can start with an inspiring TED Talk or an informative YouTube video. Students watch the video and engage with learning modules designed to get them to think, dig deeper, and discuss the content.

The Think module allows you to include multiple-choice or open-ended questions. Students who answer incorrectly can be offered video hints that will take them directly to the content in question. You can choose to have students use TED-Ed accounts or simply create nicknames to identify their responses on your lesson page.

YouTube videos can be cropped as needed and watched on the YouTube site for closed captioning. To get started, browse the Ted-Ed public lesson library for shared lessons that can be customized to your teaching needs.
