Unpacking the Brightspace Editor

The Brightspace editor is an HTML editor within Lamakū with features that speed content creation. Beyond editing text, you can build course content with linked or embedded learning materials. There is also the option of inserting practice questions to allow students to engage in formative and ungraded assessment activities.

In many Lamakū tools, the default editor will appear as shown above. To see all menu bar options, click the More Actions button. Expose the second row to view more content construction and correction options—including Preview, Undo, and Source code buttons.

In tools such as Quizzes, you will encounter the slimline version of the editor. Click the Fullscreen button with the four arrows to bring up the full Brightspace editor menu.
