The Naulu Center provides office space for student and campus programs focused on student success and initiatives that focus on Native Hawaiian student success. Four primary spaces with the space may be reserved for classes, meetings, workshops, demonstrations and more!

UH West Oʻahu has launched a new process for internal event requests in alignment with COVID-19 campus policies.
- Complete and submit an Online Event Request Form.
- Food Services & Events (FSE) will review your request, and contact you if additional information is needed.
- The request will then be reviewed by AUXILIARY Services for compliance and forwarded to Chancellor Benham for final approval.
- Once approved, an event confirmation will be emailed to the Requestor. Note: Alternate locations may be assigned if better suited and/or original requested space is unavailable. Additional documentation may also be required.
- If the event is not approved, a notification will be emailed to the Requestor.
- Lead Organizer must submit a list of participants (EXCEL format) upon completion of the event.

Hoʻokipa Room – C131
The Ho’okipa Room is a multipurpose area that can be used to hold small seminars, class, workshops and activities. This room is equipped with a drop down screen, projector and professional sound system for presentations. Resources such as laptops and ʻukulele are available to be borrowed.
Hoʻonanea Room – C132
The Hoʻonanea Room is a lounge and eating area for campus and community members to enjoy. This room is also available for events. The Culinary Arts Lab & Prep-kitchen areas are also located in this room.
Culinary Arts Lab & Prep-kitchen – C130/C131
The Culinary Arts Lab & Prep-kitchen areas can be used for UHWO courses integrating cooking, garden to table workshops, food preparation and cooking demonstrations. The large counter space can be used for food service and staging.
Conference Room – C133
The Naulu Center conference room is available for group meetings up to 13 people. It is equipped with a large 62” television with HDMI connection for presentations.
Hale Kūahuokalā
Hale Kūahuokalā is a traditional Hawaiian hale and functional art form nestled within the student organic garden. The hale can be reserved for classes, workshops, and other cultural events. It was constructed by Kumu Francis Palani Sinenci (Kuhikuhi Pu’uone) and his alakaʻi and haumana of Hālau Hale Kuhikuhi alongside UH West O‘ahu students, faculty, and staff.
Nāulu Center Outdoor Learning Space
The Nāulu Center Outdoor Learning Space provides a shade structure for educational and cultural activities that engage students and the campus community. The space is intended for student and campus events and activities that encompass all aspects of engagement. The outdoor learning space has lighting, audiovisual capabilities for sound, and a large blow-up projector for outside courses, workshops, and events.
