Winter break closures, schedule changes for services at UH West Oʻahu

Please note the following closures and other schedule changes for services at UH West O‘ahu during the winter break, which runs from Monday, Dec. 19, to Friday, Jan. 6:


UH West O‘ahu Bookstore will be closed Tuesday, Dec. 20, through Monday, Jan. 2. Please also note that book buybacks will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12, through Friday, Dec. 16. Textbook rentals will be due by Monday, Dec. 19.

UH West O‘ahu Dining Hall, operated by Da Spot Health Foods & Juices, will be open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday until Thursday, Dec. 15. It will be closed Friday, Dec. 16, through Tuesday, Jan. 3.

When the Dining Hall reopens on Wednesday, Jan. 4, its hours of operations will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday throughout the spring 2023 semester (subject to change).


James & Abigail Campbell Library hours will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday until further notice. The library building will be closed Monday, Dec. 19, through Friday, Dec. 30.

When the library reopens on Tuesday, Jan. 3, its hours will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday until further notice.

UHWO IT Help Desk will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. It will be closed on the following observed state holidays — Monday, Dec. 26 (Christmas), and Monday, Jan. 2 (New Year’s).

Mental Health Services at UH West O‘ahu remains open throughout the holiday season. All enrolled students may access free and confidential mental health services during and between semesters. Please email uhwotalk@hawaii.edu to make an appointment.

Nāulu Center will be closed Monday, Dec. 12, through Friday, Jan. 6, and will reopen when the semester begins on Monday, Jan. 9.

No‘eau Center will be open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 19, through Friday, Jan. 6. The center can be accessed on campus and virtually. For access when the library is closed, students can call 808-689-2750. In addition to the observed state holidays — Monday, Dec. 26 (Christmas), and Monday, Jan. 2 (New Year’s) — the No‘eau Center will also be closed on Friday, Dec. 23.
