UH West Oʻahu student leaders of organizations, student employees, and other UHWO students are invited to a leadership conference organized by the UH West Oʻahu Office of Student Life.

The University Leadership Education for Advanced Development (uLEAD) conference is designed to provide UH West Oʻahu students with opportunities to learn leadership concepts and to explore their leadership potential. It is organized by the Office of Student Life, which is charged with providing students with experiential education, leadership opportunities, student representation and programs and activities which enhance campus life and support the greater West O‘ahu community.

The conference is organized to help students expand their awareness and concept of personal and team leadership, and to help them expand and enhance their own leadership effectiveness. Additionally, the uLEAD Conference will help student leaders connect to one another and create a leadership network.

Registration for the conference is underway and is free for UH West Oʻahu students to attend, including refreshments, lunch, afternoon snacks and conference materials. All presentations will be student-led by current UH West Oʻahu student leaders. These students recently attended Hoʻopili Hou 2019 statewide college student leadership conference on Kauaʻi and will be sharing their learning with other UH West Oʻahu students.
