No’eau Center to host Cram Jam at Nāulu Center next week

The No’eau Center will host Cram Jam at the newly opened Nāulu Center, with tutors on hand to help students prepare for final exams and free food for weary learners. There even will be a few prizes handed out.

The Cram Jam is scheduled from 5 to 10 p.m., April 24 and 25, with tutoring support as well as faculty-led study sessions. Students should visit the Noʻeau Center’s website to see which professors are holding sessions. Typically one out of four students attending No‘eau’s Cram Jams are there for a faculty-led session.

Free food will be provided and students will have a chance to win a Hydro Flask or PopSockets  from the UH West Oʻahu Bookstore. All attendees who fill out a survey will get a raffle ticket; extra tickets are available for participating in tutoring or faculty-led sessions.

An assortment of fruits, vegetables, hot food, refreshments, and light desserts will be served so scholars do not have to study on an empty stomach. a  On Tuesday, April 24, there will be chow mein, rice and chicken katsu; and on Wednesday, April 25, beef stew, rice, and macaroni salad is on the menu.

This event is sponsored by the Nāulu Center and the Student Activity Fee Board. The Nāulu Center officially opened at in a previously unused space at Campus Center on April 10.
