The UH West O’ahu Compliance Hui is inviting everyone to the courtyard on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for several events observing:
- World AIDS Day – Usually observed on December 1, this day is dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection, and mourning those who have died of the disease;
- Diabetes or Health and Wellness – Raising awareness about type 1 diabetes; and,
- Substance Abuse Awareness – Attempts to prevent the onset of substance use or limit the development of problems associated with using psychoactive’s substances.
