
UH West Oʻahu’s International Education Week will feature activities in both the UHWO courtyard and the Hawaiʻi Tokai International College (HTIC) when it gets underway next week, Nov. 13-16.
The events will include:
Monday, Nov. 13
- Reading and Writing in Korean, International Week Booth, Courtyard 11 a.m.-2p.m.
- Origami activity, International Week Booth, Courtyard 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
- Practicing Real Peace Seminar, HTIC campus, 3-4 p.m.
- Movie night, HTIC campus, 5 p.m.
Tuesday, Nov. 14
- Traditional Clothing from Around the World (Japan, Korea, Hawaiʻi), International Week Booth, Courtyard 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
- Kim Chee Workshop, Hale Kuahuokalā, 1:30-2:30 p.m.
- Study Abroad Workshop, ʻUluʻulu archive space, 2:30-3 p.m.
- International Student Club – Club information, ʻUluʻulu archive space, 3-3:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Nov. 15
- Traditional Hawaiian Games, International Week Booth, Courtyard 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
- Traditional Hawaiian Instruments, Courtyard 1:30 p.m.
- International Booths and Japanese Cultural Activity, HTIC Auditorium, 12:30-4 p.m.
- International Education and World Peace Dialogue, HITC 3-4 p.m.
- Tea Ceremony and Judo Performance, HTIC, 4-5 p.m.
- Calligraphy and Drums Performance, HTIC 5-6 p.m.
Thursday, Nov. 16
- Japanese Cultural Artifacts, International Week Booth, Courtyard 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
