Uncle Wally Ito, from KUA Hawaii, will discuss the importance of limu in “Tales of Limu: Stories and benefits in Hawaiian Cultural Practices.” The Math+Science+x Seminar will cover limu’s impact on the marine ecosystem and its uses in medicine, culture, and religion on Friday, Jan. 27, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in room E132.
