UH West Oʻahu is excited to announce the groundbreaking for its Allied Health/Administration building on Monday, Nov. 28, at 10 a.m. near the turnaround at the entrance to the campus. Students, faculty, and staff are welcome to attend the ground breaking and blessing ceremony.
The program includes remarks by Governor David Ige, UH President David Lassner, ASUHWO President Isaiah Baclaan, and interim Chancellor Doris Ching.
The Allied Health/Administration building will house programs such as allied health, community health, health information management, long term care, and biology. The building will include administrative offices, faculty offices, classrooms, and lab spaces totaling 43,000 square feet.
The project is anticipated to be completed in 2018.
