In commemoration of Women’s History Month, University of Southern California Professor of Sociology and Gender Studies, Rhacel Salazar Parrenas, will present on “Mobilizing Morality: Migrant Domestic Workers in Dubai” at UH West Oʻahu. Parrenas is one of the leading scholars of the international migration of Filipino/a workers and a 2015-2016 Deutsche Bank Member of the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, N.J.

Light refreshments will be served. The presentation is co-sponsored by the UH West Oʻahu Distinguished Visiting Scholars Program, the UHWO Sociology Club, Alpha Kappa Delta, and Pamantasan West Oʻahu.
