Happy UH West Oʻahu graduates at the fall 2015 commencement on Saturday, Dec. 12.
The holiday season was extra special for UH West Oʻahu graduates who participated in the fall 2015 commencement exercises on Saturday, Dec. 12 in the UHWO Courtyard. Graduates received bachelor’s degrees and certificates as happy family and friends looked on. Chancellor Rockne Freitas presided over his final commencement ceremony before his retirement on Dec. 31. State Senator Michelle Kidani presented Chancellor Freitas with an official proclamation from the Hawaiʻi State Legislature thanking him for his years of exceptional service to the University of Hawaiʻi and the state. Fall 2015 graduate and student speaker Marissa Pagud addressed the graduates, and former University of Hawaiʻi President Albert Simone gave the keynote address.
