Learn why your vote counts at Constitution Day event, Sept. 17

Learn about the U.S. Constitution and the importance of your vote in this year’s upcoming General Election at the event, “EH! You Goin’ Vote or Wot?! — Constitution Day Workshop,” 1 to 2:30 p.m. Sept. 17 via Zoom.

The workshop is presented by the University of Hawaiʻi–West Oʻahu Compliance Hui in recognition of Constitution Day on Sept. 17. Topics of discussion include understanding the foundations of voting rights, voter redistricting, and the Electoral College.

The event presenter will be Tom Hirsbrunner, who began working at UH West Oʻahu in 2015 and has been the ADA/504 Coordinator since 2017. Hirsbrunner also teaches Administrative Law. Hirsbrunner practiced law in Michigan for ten years. Since joining the campus, Hirsbrunner has been committed to providing the necessary tools for the UH West Oʻahu ʻohana to be successful.
