The Nālimakui Native Hawaiian Council at the University of Hawaiʻi–West Oʻahu presents its first ever Pūpū a o ʻEwa awards, which offers students up to $150 in monetary awards to be used in the Spring 2020 semester. Students are invited to tell the council about their kuleana and how it empowers their community.

Students can submit their moʻolelo in any format – such as an essay, artwork, or video – that can best tell their story. The deadline is Jan. 31. For questions or to submit a story, email nnhc@hawaii.edu.
