As we enter into Makahiki Season, the Nālimakui Council is holding the Ulumaika Games – a sport similar to bowling using a disk-shaped stone – 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 20 on UH West Oʻahuʻs Great Lawn. There will be four games every 30 minutes, beginning 11 a.m., 11:30 a.m., noon and 12:30 p.m.
All UH West Oʻahu students, faculty and staff are invited to play and are eligible to win prizes, which include $50 gift cards for California Pizza Kitchen, $25 gift cards for The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and movie tickets. Players can earn their own points, but will increase their chances of winning by joining a team.
