The regular meeting of the UHWO Faculty Senate was held via Zoom Platform. FS Chair Keaunui presiding with Lisa Spencer Vice Chair/Recorder. Chair Keaunui called the meeting to order at 11:34 a.m.

      3. Conversations about Tuition Increase with BOR – Not in 2022/2023.
        1. UBAC to monitor process.
    2. COVID restrictions “suspended” on campus.
    3. West Oahu Works Roundtable Discussion
      1. Partnership with Hawaii P-20 and Kapolei Chamber of Commerce
      2. Discussions: Better align to increase efforts to grow employees, workforce, community leaders.
    4. Bookstore open and Dining Room almost completed.
    5. Technology – Full upgrade of all technologies (2.0) in all classrooms.
    6. New Security System in place during summer.
  2. Office of the Vice-Chancellor for Student Affairs (Interim Vice-Chancellor Jan Javinar, Lokelani Kenolio, Leslie Opulauoho)
    1. 4/4/22 – Summer and Fall registration for continuing students begins.
      1. 55% are continuing.
      2. Faculty encourage students to register for Fall semester.
    2. 4/12/22 – Welcome First Time Students – 5:30 p.m.
