The ʻOnipaʻa speaker series continues for the spring 2017 semester with a screening of the movie, ʻOnipaʻa (1994, Kalama Productions), followed by a discussion facilitated by UH West Oʻahu Associate Professor of Hawaiian Pacific Studies Leilani Basham. ʻOnipaʻa will be screened on Tuesday, Jan. 17, from 11 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. in the ʻUluʻulu Exhibit Space.
UH West Oʻahu students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to attend. This event is sponsored by the UHWO Library, ʻUluʻulu, and UHWO Hawaiian-Pacific Studies, History, and Political Science departments.
