Spring 2015 Politics of Food Serving Learning Project

Care about what is happening in the world today? Want to learn how to analyze contemporary events and act conscientiously as an informed citizen? Earn your certificate in democratic principles and social justice at UH West Oʻahu and get first hand experience serving your community and advocating for the rights of others at local, national, regional and international levels. This multidisciplinary certificate includes coursework in a variety of anthropology, economics, education, history, political science, public administration, and/or sociology classes emphasizing democracy and social justice themes.
