Principal of TZ Economics and former Chief Economist for Bank of Hawaii Paul Brewbaker recently discussed “Imperfectly Competitive Economics of Hawaiʻi Air and Sea Transport” during Dr. Peiyong Patricia Yu’s ECON 130: Principles of Microeconomics class this fall. Dr. Brewbaker used many Hawaiʻi examples and his own business experiences to instruct students with humor and rich information about the advantages and disadvantages of Hawaiʻi sea and air transport, and distribution economics.
