UH West Oʻahu and Tokai University sign first of its kind academic partnership agreement

UH West Oʻahu Chancellor Rockne Freitas and Tokai University Chancellor Kiyoshi Yamada sign a memorandum of understanding at UH West Oʻahu on Friday, Jan. 9.

UH West Oʻahu signed an agreement with Tokai University establishing an academic partnership between the two universities. The agreement is the first of its kind in the nation between a public university and a U.S. accredited international junior college with physical campuses next to each other. For more information, see the news release. The new Hawaii Tokai International College campus is located adjacent to UH West Oʻahu and opened in April 2015.
