The UH West Oʻahu Library will host an American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Hawaiʻi “pop-up” forum about civil liberty issues of concern on Thursday, Oct. 29 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the UH West Oʻahu Library second floor exhibit space near the computer lab.
In celebration of the organization’s 50 years of service in Hawaiʻi, the ACLU of Hawaiʻi is hosting pop-up forums in locations across the state to meet with the public and discuss civil liberty concerns. The event is free and open to the public. RSVP to office@acluhawaii.org including information about your topic of concern. Walk-ins are welcome but RSVPs help ACLU representatives prepare for questions. Light refreshments will be served.
