University of Hawaiʻi – West Oʻahu students are invited to join the National Student Day celebration today, Oct. 8, at the UH West Oʻahu Bookstore. National Student Day celebrates students at campus stores throughout the United States and Canada. Students are invited to visit the bookstore to pick up a free gift and enter one-day contests for prizes from UH Bookstore business partners. Giveaways include free snacks, UH logo items, and gift cards. No purchase is necessary.
Students may also enter the National Student Day Contest, sponsored by the National Association of College Stores, to win a $500 UH Bookstores gift card. Each selfie shared in the store with hashtag #GIVEME5NSD will serve as a contest entry and will donate $1 to Reading is Fundamental, a literacy nonprofit. The contest closes on Oct. 22, 2015.
