Learn how to make basic olokeʻa lashings to create a bamboo archway at the Lashing Workshop on Wednesday, Sept. 9 from 10:50 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the UH West Oʻahu Hale in the Student Organic Campus Garden. UHWO PIKO Project Program Coordinator, Tiana Henderson, a haumana (student) of Halau Hale Kuhikuhi under the direction of Kumu Francis Sinenci, will conduct the workshop. All UH West Oʻahu students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to attend. The workshop is sponsored by the UH West Oʻahu PIKO project.
