Students
UH West Oʻahu Career Services supports the career development of degree-seeking students. Opportunities exist to discuss all aspects of the career development process with a Career Services Specialist. Whether you are choosing a major, looking for an internship, thinking about graduate school, seeking advice on interviews or resumes, or looking for a full-time job, we are available to meet with you individually to discuss your career concerns.
Assessments
Not every college student knows exactly what they were meant to do. There are even some that think they know what they were meant to do, but their major and career path might not be the best “fit”, resulting in lower grades and dissatisfaction with their college experience. If you are unsure about what to major in or are on the fence about what direction to go, the self-assessment process can give you more choices and increase your confidence that you are on the right career path.

After completing the career assessments, you should have some ideas for potential college majors and career options that align with who you are and what you hope to accomplish. Next, you need to learn more about these majors and careers. Good decisions require careful thought about the choices before you.
