In the midst of midterms, University of Hawai‘i–West O‘ahu students can — and should! — take some time for a little rest and relaxation at the No‘eau Center’s popular event, West & Welaxation.
The event will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, and Wednesday, March 13, at both the No‘eau Center in B-203 at the James & Abigail Campbell Library, and at the center’s satellite location in A building at the outdoor lanai area on the second floor. There will also be online games and activities via Discord.
“We know that college can be stressful, especially during midterms week!” said Wendy Takahashi, Student Services Specialist at the No‘eau Center. “We created fun and relaxing activities at this event to allow students to de-stress, connect, and engage with their peers across campus.”
Students will be able to center themselves and unwind with No‘eau Center’s student leaders and staff by enjoying a boba drink, listening to live music, creating friendship bracelets, making slime, painting a canvas, and more.
“I highly encourage students to attend West & Welaxation to further the sense of community on campus!” Takahashi said. “It’s fun to see student life on campus and I believe that this event is just another way to foster that.”
West & Welaxation is sponsored by the UH West O‘ahu Student Activity Fee Board. For more information about the event, see the flyer below or contact the No‘eau Center at 808-689-2750 or uhwowc@hawaii.edu.
